MICRO-CHIP IMPLANTS

Biology and technology are at a feuding stage in this time. With the idea of implanting microchips inside of humans is even more bizarre. These scientist are saying its not about implanting technology to turn you into some futuristic cybernatic life (Terminator) but, it will provide solutions to physical problems and a means for positively identifying humans. One idea is that it would provide sight to the blind by attaching the chip to the outside of th eye. From there the chip would take over processing from damaged photoreceptors and transmit electrical images to the brain. The personal ID chip also known as the VeriMed is a chip that is actually current.  The VeriMed is about the size of a rice grain and is planted underneath the skin. It has a unique serial number and when scanned it connects to a database bringing up your  name, address, and medical conditions. They're also saying it can provide proof just in case someone stole your credit card if they scan the chip in your arm they would know if it were you or not.
Hospitals are currently using the nonimplant version that is attached with a band on newborn infants. The band with the chip on it, is so hospital staff can monitor the location of any baby instantly. People actually fear for their privacy when it comes to another chip called the "mu-chip". It was designed by Hitachi and is smaller than the period at the end of this sentence. On the other hand, researchers are actually excited because it would be able to track the safety of our food chain as well as the heat and moisture conditions. In my opinion the use of these micro chip implants has it pros and cons. For safety and health reasons I'm definitely for it, but just so the government can know your whereabouts I totally disagree!! Are you for it or against it??

WHY DO I NEED AN EMAIL?

Today, everyone is convinced of the necessity of having an email address, just as they are convinced of the need for a cell phone.  However most people get themselves an email address from their ISP (internet Service Provider) or from Yahoo, Hotmail or Gmail. Technology has shown up as solar energy, connecting and powering the lives of all who comes across its stream.  Email is one of the faster and effective ways of communicating.  It saves you time, energy, money and headaches.

Just think of going to the Post Office, standing on long lines waiting to purchase stamps, boxes and envelopes for mailing.  With email you can omit going to the post office,  Now you can send your resume, photos, audio and video mails in the comfort of your own home or office, exchanging and collaborating documents via attachments, as well as creating documentation of conversations.  These are the real reasons worth having an email.

With high expectations, there are more and more providers of emails.  Our options are up to us to choose among providers like : gmail, hotmail, Yahoo, net-zero and a host of others. Time has changed and so has technology,  Don't you think you have also grown?  Yes, indeed, I have grown to experience the use of technological devices like; Ipads, Iphones, Ipods, which are hand held divices.

I have seen my son spend lots of time looking at funny videos from sources like you-tube and instagram.  These entertainment keep people from wondering outside their homes  to find show that are funny, unbelievable, dumb, and exciting. Social media has really contributed to our da8ily live in this century.  young as well as old are networking.  Technology surly got a hold on us.

Emotional Machines??

When we watch movies like "Transformers" and see robots like Bumblebee filled with so much emotions and passion we wonder if that's even possible. This is where these psychologist and computer scientist began researching the nature of being human and the nature of machines. Their trying to find a way for these machines to develop human expression as well as having social and emotional skills. Computers have proved to be faster than humans but fail in showing any type of moods.
They're actually two projects that are currently being worked on by scientists. The first one ESP ( Emotional-Synthesis Prothesis) developed at the MIT Media Lab helps interpret autistic individuals moods and what their intentions probably are, and communicate it back to the user. The second project, helps individuals who have a hard time focusing on a specific task. It determines how focus they are by their movements with the mouse and the pressure patterns on the chair. This allows the computer to determine their level of attention and when it begins to fall the computer can refocus him/her on the specific task.
As scientist continue to develop these emotional machines, the next thing on their agenda will be their appearance, to make them appear more human like...Soon To Come!!
