      Social networking service is a platform to build social network or social relations among people who, for example; share interest, activities, backgrounds, or real-life connections.  A social network service consists of a representation of each user (often a profile), his/her social links, and a variety of additional services.

     Most social network services are web-based and provide means for users to interact over the Internet, such as Facebook, Insta-gram and instant messaging.  Online community services are sometimes considered as a social network service, though in a broader sense, social network service usually means; an individual-centered service whereas online community service are group-centered.

     Social networking sites allow users to share ideas, pictures, post activities, events and interests with people in their network.  Examples are: Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, blog and instant messaging.  It is also possible to post videos of funny associations or event.  Most people who are habitual media followers find these mediums entertaining as they view or participate in the comfort of their own space.

     I have seen my son spend lots of time looking at funny videos from sources like you-tube and instagram.  These entertainment keep people from wondering outside their homes  to find show that are funny, unbelievable, dumb, and exciting. Social media has really contributed to our da8ily live in this century.  young as well as old are networking.  Technology surly got a hold on us.
